What We do / The Team: Asset Servicing Technology team is part of wider Markets Operations Technology group.  Our strategic application, ASPEN (Asset Servicing Processing Environments), provides Asset Servicing processing capabilities globally, including announcement capture, stock record capture and notifications to internal and external clients.  This is an opportunity to join a global technology team and work on some exciting tech transformation initiatives. Role Overview/What will you do: Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications. Define the architecture, guardrails, and patterns for how engineers build and manage AI agents to automate and scale our development lifecycle. Individual Contributor: Remain hands-on and able to code, build prototypes, and architect agent workflows as needed. Technical Ownership: Assume technical ownership of the security, quality, scale, and performance of products delivered from our Belfast hub (collaborating closely with our global engineering teams). Cloud Architecture: Oversee architectures, designs, and delivery of products built and deployed on AWS. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Support Engineer with strong development expertise and a solid background in production support. This role combines hands-on Python development with operational support responsibilities, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of critical systems. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Python development, support and incident management, modern delivery methodologies, cloud platforms, and front-end JavaScript technologies.
